Betty Roe Britt's Obituary
Betty Roe Britt, age 91, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on August 25, 2025 after a brief illness. She was born on September 11, 1933, in McDonald, Kansas and attended Transylvania University. Betty was a resident at Juliette Fowler Communities.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) and is survived her sons (Steve and his wife Gail Eckhardt, Brian, Russell and his wife Courtney), her grandchildren (Blair, Byron and his wife Cat Smith, Grant and his wife Andrea, Cole and his wife KC, Ethan, Ellis Jane, and Dylan), her great-grandchildren (Jensen, Nora, and Emmalyn), and her sister-in-law Barbara Roe. Betty leaves behind many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
She was an active member of Highlands Christian Church, playing in the bell choir and quilting. Betty and Bob were active square dancers with the Stone Steppers. Betty retired from JC Penney and loved to shop with her retiree discount. She enjoyed the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Dallas Winds and the Dallas Theater Center.
