Ms. Cosgrove was a leader in the industry as she was the successful owner and manager of Iris Catering Company which served the greater Dallas area for many years. After selling this successful business, she was employed as a free – lance representative for several major New York based corporations. Since 1973 Ms. Cosgrove has been a very active member of the Unity Church of Dallas. Ms. Cosgrove also was very involved with the Rosicrucian Order of Dallas and studied under Father Taliaffrro. A person of many talents and interests: she was an avid gardener and took great pride in the fact that her front and backyard were the show place of her neighborhood. She was instrumental in the beautification of flowers along Plano Road in Garland, Texas. Ms. Cosgrove was an avid Numerologist. She was a member of several organizations; being a part of Toastmasters brought her great pleasure. She traveled extensively toured Europe several times and numerous other countries. Her favorite trip was to Peru, Columbia, Belize, the Galapagos Islands and the Panama Canal. Ms. Cosgrove’s words of wisdom were to work less and travel the world more. Her two four legged family members, Pippa and Fannie adored her and were greatly loved in return. Though we mourn her passing, we are grateful for her life. No memorial service as per Mom’s request. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials made in her honor be made to City of Richardson Animal Services Division (local human society) – Mom would visit often to pet all the kitties, this gave her great joy. Occasionally she managed to leave without a new four legged family member. They may be contacted at 972 – 744 – 4480 and www.cor.net
