Betty R. Cromidas' Obituary
Betty Regan Cromidas, 86, departed this life January 21, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, after a period of declining health. She was born in Marlborough, MA, To Regis and Anna Regan. She later lived in Bucks County, PA, and has been a resident of Dallas since 1975.Betty was a graduate of Marlborough High School and the Kathleen Dell School in Brookline, MA. Through the years, she held a number of customer service and administrative positions with American Airlines and other organizations. Her work as a wife and a mother always took precedence, and she considered her family her greatest accomplishment. Betty enjoyed baking Greek pastries, and shared her recipes generously. Dancing was her great joy. All family wedding photos captured her dancing enthusiastically. She was an avid shopper and loved exploring Dallas area stores. She was a member of Saints Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Marlborough, MA, in her early years, and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas, TX, since 1975. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Paul Cromidas.Surviving are her sisterJanice Gamvas and husband George, daughter Cynthia Fox and husband Art, their daughter Tiffany Regan Smith and husband Riley, son Paul Regan Cromidas and wife Theresa, beloved grandchildren Nicholas Cromidas and Madalyn Cromidas, godson Christopher Martin and wife Ellen, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Georgia Silvar.Special thanks to Father Peter Kostakis for his many comforting visits. Betty was especially grateful for the daily loving care of her daughter-in-law Theresa and son Paul. The family thanks Connie, Missy, and Kelly on the Paradigm team, VNA Hospice staff Lorena and Karen, and Caroline of Home Care Book.The Trisagion will be Sunday, January 27, 2019, at 5:00 PM and the funeral will be Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
