Just as my sister Renee stated above, I never new her growing up either. We have a complicated family history. But, I am glad my daughter Yolimitzin, my wife Salina, and myself got a chance to meet her before she passed. Rest in peace, Betty..
I didn't know my grandmother growing up, however I was fortunate to develop a relationship with her shortly before she passed away. She was a character, but what can I say, so am I. At least now I know where I get it from.
