Betty Karen Dunnam's Obituary
Betty Karen Dunnam died in Richardson TX on 10/9/2025, born in Orange TX, raised in Port Arthur TX, having received her bachelor’s degree from Lamar University and master’s from Southern Methodist University. She was a longtime resident of Richardson TX, teaching high school and junior high for 32 plus years in the Richardson Independent School District that included JJ Pearce High School, along with West and Richardson Junior High schools. Her husband Douglas W Dunnam preceded her in death and is survived by her two sons David Dunnam (Theresa) of Spring Branch TX and Daniel Dunnam (Aimee) of Royse City TX. Both Douglas and Betty were active members at The Heights Baptist Church, along with the Gideons. A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery Dallas. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Gideons.
