Betty Jo Eubanks' Obituary
Betty Jo Eubanks was born August 28, 1931 in Tyler, Texas to the late Effie and Robert Scott. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas and her Masters of Music degree from North Texas State University. She was a music teacher at Phyllis Wheatley Elementary and David Burnett Schools for over 25 years. She was united in holy matrimony to Roosevelt Eubanks in 1961. That Union lasted until his death in 1994. He was the father of five children. He was a mentor and a friend to mankind. She was a member of Wilshire Baptist Church where she sang in the Wilshire Choir. Left to cherish her memories: a devoted and loving sister, Mrs. Beverly Hilburn; five step-children, one daughter and many nieces and nephews. The service for Betty Eubanks will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 7, 2017 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
