Mrs. Betty Harris, age 94, of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024. Born to the late Paul and Vesta Beavers in Honey Grove, Texas, Betty lived a life full of love and adventure. She was married to the love of her life, Mr. Dewey Harris, who preceded her in death. Together, they were blessed with one daughter, Ms. Kim Harris.
Betty had a zest for life, enjoying travels around the world, exciting shopping trips to the casino, and attending Carrie Underwood concerts as a devoted fan. Her vibrant spirit and love for life will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with her loving and devoted daughter, Kim Harris; her sister, Le Veda Sherrill, and brother-in-law, David Sherrill; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Allen, Donna Sherrill, and David Sherrill.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with a public viewing at 1:00 PM, at the Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel, nestled in the serene gardens of Restland Cemetery.
