Betty Ruth Hathcock's Obituary
Hathcock, Betty Born Betty Ruth Lane on July 28, 1924 died on March 24, 2013 at the age of 88. She was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church of Garland. Betty worked as a retail manager at Ches-Lee for many years and retired after marrying her late husband Al. She had many memories of dancing at Geneva Hall with Al and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 15 years Al Hathcock; brothers, Lloyd and Ralph Lane; and sister, Polly Miller. Betty is survived by daughters, Betty Moore and husband, Jerry, Karen Miller and husband, Donald; granddaughters, Marcie Rumph and husband, Brian, Molly Ruiz and husband, Lorenzo, and Melanie Miller; great-grandchildren, Carter and Emma Rumph and Abigail, Lorenzo III, and Lukas Ruiz; sisters, Mary Groves and Nell Parks; first husband, W.A. Barry, and many loved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1st Presbyterian Church in Garland. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Graveside service at 2:00 PM on April 6, 2013 in Clifton, Texas.
