Betty Jo Herring's Obituary
Betty Jo Pavey Herring was born in her Grandfather, the Reverend Samuel Louis Raborn’s home, in Waco, TX July 20, 1929, to Elizabeth and Jesse Pavey. She died September 4, 2008 in Irving, Tx at the age of 79. She was a teacher of children in Sunday school as well as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alva Herring, and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Macarthur Blvd. Baptist Church in Irving. Family and friends visitation, Monday September, 8 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside funeral service Tuesday, September 9, at Restland Memorial Park, Gospel at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
