Cathy Huffington-Hall
Dear Aunt Betty, After all of those years of reading nurse charts as an R.N. I am sure you can see this from heaven. Where should I begin as the song goes? Your life now will be like a never ending song, an album stored in the archives with God until we see you again. By the way, how was the trip? You always asked me that about my flights! Speaking of which, you changed the world for me with your prayers that I would join the airlines and fly all over the world, I did! You changed the world for me with your prayers that I would marry Kirby and grow a family, I am! You certainly changed my experience in going with me when I bought a Honda two different times and don't forget the Subaru when you told the saleperson that not only would they have to exactly meet the price that the insurance gave me from an accident settlement but that they would have to throw in a pair of red boots as well, and, of course, I got the red boots! You called the car repairmen when they accidentally made my heater go on non-stop whether summer or winter and insisted they fix it and charge me for NOTHING from the original reason I took it in. We all know that the funniest time was when you told the entire dealership (when I bought Honda No. 2) to hurry up with the transaction because it was Saturday night and you had to go home and get "ready for your date." I have never seen such an element of surprise and effectiveness in finalizing a purchase in my lifetime and doubt that I ever would have! Your spunky and outspoken personality has brought a smile to me so many times I could never begin to count. One thing I know is that heaven will never be the same since you joined the eternal! Lucky for heaven, everyone will be kept in line as well as cared for by your ways of compassion but now an empty spot will be on earth without your physical presence. I know like I told you 14 months ago that I would not leave you ever that now you are giving me the "ditto" because I sense your gift of strength already in significant ways. You will know what I mean when you read my diary of today! So for now, I can never say in words what all you have done for me. Obviously, we have been so good for each other and I will never never make a choice without thinking of what you and my Mother would have said for me to do. I will see you someday when my time comes. Until then, give Grandma Ruth, Papaw Troy, Uncle Don, Mother and everyone an angel hug for me and tell them about everything fun we have done together since they have been there. You are so outgoing that I cannot think of anyone who will enjoy the great party there as much as you. I love you always and forever, Your loving niece, Cathy
