Betty Janssen's Obituary
JANSSEN, BETTY (PHILLIPS), born February 21, 1921, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend joined her Heavenly Father and departed family on Wednesday, June 13th. She passed away after an extended illness, which she met with strength, dignity, and exceptional courage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, and will be laid to rest with him at Restland Dallas, where she joins her parents, brothers, and sisters and completes a chapter in the Phillips’ family. She leaves her daughter, Kris, and grandsons, Jason and Eric Johnston, who loved and devoted their lives to her. Also, she leaves numerous nieces and nephews that she touched as a “second mother”. Her legacy remains alive as we all try to love our children as much as Betty loved “all” of hers. We knew nothing but love from her as we grew up. Graveside services will be Thursday, June 21st at 11 AM at Restland in the Garden of Ascension. Notes of condolences can be sent to Kris Janssen, 7956 Stallion Dr., Nashville, Tennessee 37221.
