Betty Jean Prater's Obituary
Betty J. Prater passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Betty J. Prater was born on October 10, 1930, in Trenton, TX. Betty was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church and many distinguished organizations such as; being the grand treasurer of Grand Chapter of Texas, Order of Eastern Star for ten years, She was the President of Secretaries Assn. of TX. and Past Matron of Kiest OES Chapter. Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Sarada Drake; husband Don Prater and sister, Dorothy Lambert. Betty is survived by her caregiver and cousin, Patricia and her husband Larry Rowell; niece Cathy Culleson; nephew, Rusty Lambert and many beloved friends and family. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 10:00AM Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church located at 9810 La Prada Dr., Dallas, TX 75228.
