Betty Jane Jenkins' Obituary
Jenkins, Betty Jane Sprecher was born on July 2, 1923 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Martin and Esther Sprecher. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 26, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Betty had just celebrated her 90th birthday and was active, working for The Maddox Shop Casa Linda and volunteering at Doctors Hospital, till the end. She retired from Mobile Oil Company in 1972 and Avon after 35 years. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger; husband, Harold and granddaughter, Ronda Bolton. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Kay Smith; step-daughter, Jana Harris; granddaughter, Jeanette Kenney; and numerous great great-grandchildren, as well as longtime co-works and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at Betty’ s home church, Central Lutheran Church on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM, 1000 Easton Road Dallas.
