Betty Boykin Jordan's Obituary
Betty Boykin Jordan, age 85 of Plano, Texas passed away April 12, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family in Plano, Texas. She was born October 12, 1937 in Houston, Texas to Fred Griffin Boykin and Betty Covington Boykin. Mrs. Jordan was a 1955 graduate of Lamar High School and attended the University of Houston where she met her husband of 48 years.
On April 16, 1958, Betty married William (Bill) N. Jordan in Houston, Texas. Betty was a full-time homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her children, Lindsey Jordan Christie of Plano, TX, Carrie Ann Tuttle of Sachse, TX and Laura Jordan-Fair of Wylie, TX; grandchildren Abigail Fair Garcia and husband Ryan Garcia of Dallas, TX, Grayson Buckley Fair of Wylie, TX, Katelyn Tuttle and Kara Tuttle of Garland, TX; and 2 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson; sisters Charlotte Boykin McKelvy of Colfax, LA, and Mary Buchanan of Magnolia, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
