Betty Sue Kline's Obituary
Betty Sue Reston Kline, 84, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017 in Weatherford, Texas with her family by her side. Born November 2, 1932 in Dallas, Texas, she was raised in Lufkin, Texas. Betty received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 10. She loved and served God all her life. She was very active in Christian ministry at First Baptist Church, Richardson including the International Ministry, the heart Ministry and she served on many Church Committees including the Pastor Search Committee. She served as a missionary in Switzerland. Betty was devoted to her family and friends and was dearly loved by all. She loved to entertain and host parties. She also loved traveling with her brother and sister-in-law. Although we will miss her terribly, we rejoice that she is with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Jessie Reston, Sr. and Lula Mae Moore Reston, loving husband, Dwain Chester Kline, and son Jerry Dwain Kline. Survivors include son David and his wife Linda Kline of Weatherford, Texas, brother Harold and his wife Sherry Reston of Tyler; grandchildren Holly Kline Griebel and her husband Craig of Springtown, Texas, Andrew Kline of Ft. Worth, Texas, Aaron Kline of Argyle Texas, Austin Kline of Seattle, Washington, Aimee Kline of Grapevine, Texas and Aric Kline of Argyle, Texas, Jerry’s wife Kathy Kline of Argyle, Texas and a niece, Kimberlie Kingsley of Arlington, Texas. The family will be at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, 13005 Greenville Ave., for visitation on March 1, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm. Burial will be a private service. Funeral services will be held on March 2, 2017 at 2pm at First Baptist Church, Richardson with Dr. Darrell Morgan and Candy Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church, Richardson.
