Betty H. (Lena) Donoho's Obituary
Of Dallas, TX passed away on April 20, 2012 at the age of 96. Betty was born in Knoxville, TN the daughter of Oliver and Vivian Hill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Donoho, and two daughters Lynda Grasty and Vivian Evans. She is survived by her son-in-law Harvey Grasty and four grandchildren Heather Stoffer, Tom Evans, Eric Evans, and Christopher Grasty, in addition to many other loving great-grandchildren, family, and friends. Betty graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she received her degree in teaching. She was a teacher, tutor, and mentor to countless youths. In addition to teaching, she was a homemaker, avid golfer, volunteer, and friend to all who met her. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Sunday, May 6 at the Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to either Metrocrest Social Services or Farmers Branch Senior Center.
