Betty Lou Loftin's Obituary
Born July 20, 1931; passed away on May 11, 2019. Preceded to Heaven by her husband of 56 years, J.P. Loftin; parents, George and Beatrice Gray; granddaughter, Tiffany Everidge Vendal; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by children, Jim & Kathy (Loftin) Everidge, Prentice & Yvonne Loftin, Henry & Jill Loftin; grandchildren, Sondi Everidge Samra, Josh Everidge, Isaac Loftin, Tabitha Loftin Curry, Robert Loftin, Sarah Loftin Burton; great grandchildren, Christian Vendal, Dillon Samra, Hunter Samra, Tiffany Samra, Landri Everidge, Layton Everidge, Aiden Loftin, August Curry, Judah Curry, Reagan Curry, Uriah Curry and a host of other family and friends. Betty was a kindergarten teacher and later a nurse. Always active in her local church, she was in the business of caring for others based on her love for Jesus and the desire to be more like Him. Her most memorable accomplishment in life, at least from the perspective of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, was providing a loving Christian home for her husband and three children, raising them to trust in the Lord and serve him always. At the end of earthly life, isn’t that really all that matters? John 14:6. Family to receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2242 E. Lucas Rd, Lucas, TX.
