Betty Coad Lyon, 90, of Garland, TX passed away on April 21, 2018 in Garland, TX. She was born on January 30, 1928 to James Coad and Grace Halderson in State Center, Iowa. She married Edward Lyon on July 16, 1950 and was a loving housewife.She is survived by her daughter, Peggie Lyon Spicer and husband, Buddy of Rowlett, TX, her son, Carter Lyon and wife, Julie of Rowlett, TX, her brother, Rev. Jim Coad and wife, Evalyn of Spartanburg, TN, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Lee Lyon. A graveside service for Mrs. Lyon will be held at Restland Memorial Park on April 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
