Betty Jane McKinney's Obituary
Born November 16, 1927, and passed away June 15, 2021. She was married for over 60 years to L. R. Davis McKinney, Jr. Together they founded the House of Davis McKinney, a numismatic company. They also had many fun weekends antiquing together. Betty Jane also had a professional career in the Legal Department of Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Co. until she retired. She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Metzger and Anita Marshall, as well as her brother-in-law Walter E. McKinney and her sister-in-law Dana Hyde and their families. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, L.R. Davis McKinney, Jr. and her parents, Paul D. Walker and Ethel Kennedy Walker. Her beautiful smile and lovely sense of humor, as well as her incredible organizational skills will be missed by all who love her. Visitation will be Sunday, June 20, 2021, from noon till 5 P.M. at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Restland Wildwood Chapel at 10 A.M.
