Betty Jean McMillan's Obituary
McMillan, Betty Jean of Dallas, TX was born May 17, 1932, she died peacefully in her sleep Christmas night, in Hickory Creek, TX, where she lived with her daughter. She is survived by her only child, Karen Marie Dalton; two grandchildren, Jason Dalton (wife, Meredith), Christiana Simmons (husband, Steven); four great-grandchildren, Katherine Garcia (husband, Patrick), Matthew Dalton, Madison Dalton, and Briana Hope Simmons; and one great-great grandchild, Brian Jaxon Templin. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Wayne H. McMillan; and many other loved ones who welcomed her home to Heaven. Betty was a retiree after 34 years at Texas Instruments. She had a radiant smile, giving heart, and a loving spirit. She was adored by everyone who knew her. Betty was an amazing mom, granny, and friend. Betty will be greatly missed. Betty longed for Heaven, loved Jesus, and wanted others to know of His love. Her service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
