March 7, 2016 Dear Janie (Jan): Out of curiosity I was doing an internet search to find out how my best friends from grade school were doing (Ladera del Norte, Farmington, NM) and found out that both of you recently lost your mothers… (Troyetta Batley, Judy's mom, died Dec. 2014, and they lost Judy's younger sister, Kathy, sometime earlier…) I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mom, Betty, and yes, I do remember how beautiful the two of you were. What a sweetie Holly was. What a dear man your Dad Len was (you lost him early?) And you have another sister, Lisa? Woo-hoo! Some good news! I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband of 38 years, Larry Snyders, a software engineer. I have a degree in Psychology but spent my time remodeling our last 4 houses. Only furry, 4-legged kids (Sheltie and Ragdoll Siamese at the moment). Folks Ron and Kay, both 84, also in Boise and still taking care of house on an acre they bought so we could have horses growing up. Younger sister Cheri in Boise. Youngest sister Nancy in Bend, OR. I wish you much love and light as you come to terms with the loss of your mother. It looks like you have lots of family to help you thru… In affectionate memory of your lovely mother, Betty, and some fun times on Sunset Avenue, Debra Robinson tishasmom@q.com
