Padgett, Betty Lou was born on November 21, 1927 in Holden, Oklahoma and passed away on December 05, 2013 in Lewisville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Padgett; husband, Clarence Dowd; parents, Carl and Nora Tackett; and sister, Karlene Elles. Betty is survived by her daughter, Janie Canfield; son and daughter-in-law, Monty and Kit Dowd; grandchildren , Richard Campbell, Taia Welty, Ryan Dowd; great grandchildren, Zachery Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Lilly Dowd and Janie Welty; grandson-in-law, Mark Welty; grand daughter-in-law, Amy Dowd; and brothers, Doyle and Kenneth Tackett. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 PM graveside in Restland Memorial Park.
