Betty Jo Pope Driggers' Obituary
DRIGGERS, BETTY JO POPE born, January 2, 1927 in Greenville, Texas and went to be with Jesus on May 10, 2013. Betty was as beautiful inside as she was outside. She was affectionately referred to as Nanny by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty enjoyed antiquing, summers in Colorado and trips to Las Vegas. She was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. Preceded in death by her parents, J.P. and Rachel Pope; four sisters, Ann, Joy, Juanita and Bernyce; two brothers, Elmer and J.P. and her husband of 57 years, Clyde Driggers. Betty is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Kuykendall and husband, Ben, Eileen Bartlett and husband, Leon and Bonnie Nixon; four grandchildren, Dawn Callihan, Amy Trail, Dr. Kari Bartlett and Jordan Bartlett; four great-grandchildren, Bonnie Orpurt, Chance Callihan, Nathan Callihan, Morgan Kauffroth and her loving Sheltie, Nikki. Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Dallas, Texas.
