Kate Fagelman
Firstly, I am so very sad to hear of Betty's passing. I thought of her today and searched and found the sad news. She was a big part of our daughters lives and ours.
I met Betty at the Tom Landry Centre in 2003. She took care of our daughter Molly, followed by her sister, Susie (who shared Betty's birthday) and then became our favourite babysitter for about the next 10 years until we moved to London.
Betty was a second grandmother to our girls. Always patient, always loving, always bringing them treats. She loved to play 'Chicken Foot' dominoes with them and gave both girls their first bibles and many Christmas ornaments. She was the most generous person. She was also a lovely friend to me and would stay often to chat and tell me about Scottie and her sons and her road trips driving friends who couldn't drive and her church group.
