Betty Snipes' Obituary
SNIPES, FERN ELIZABETH (BETTY) passed away September 4, 2007 at Presbyterian Village North. She was born December 27, 1920 in Dallas. This amazing woman was the heart of her family so we celebrate her life and the love and joy she gave to us. In 1936, she married Robert W. Snipes. They raised four daughters and were very proud of “their girls”. In 2006, they celebrated 70 years of marriage. Betty and Robert traveled with friends many places in North and South America. Betty is preceded in death by daughters, Patricia Jane Murdock and Joan M. Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert W. Snipes; two daughters, Betty Bob Harper and husband, Robert of Richardson and Jean F.Oliver and husband, Joe Oliver of Dallas; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
