My parents were Betty's former neighbors before she moved into her apartment.
We have been in touch with Betty while she was in her former apartment and at Avila Care, but were unaware -- until now -- that she had passed away 2 weeks ago.
She and my parents would talk at the "imaginary fence" (the property line.).
They helped her when her 2nd husband passed (he also lived there).
Betty helped my mother when my step-father passed and when my mother was sick.
We admired her dedication to her civic endeavors and most of all to her Christian faith.
Betty and I would talk on the phone.
We will miss her so much!!!
She is surely with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
