Bettye Jo Henderson's Obituary
Henderson, Bettye Jo was born on September 20, 1926 in Vickery, Texas and passed away on January 1, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. Bettye graduated from Hillcrest High School, received a registered nursing degree from Parkland Hospital and a B.S. degree from St. Edwards University, Austin. She received a 50 year membership pin from Eastern Star Chapter 921 Richardson where she served as Worthy Matron. Bettye was a former President of Times Review Class Book Club of Dallas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Euclid Spillman and Kathryn Lynch Spillman; grandson, Jason Lovell; and brother, Dwight Spillman. Bettye is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lewis R. Henderson; daughters, Kaye Wilson and Lori Knapp; brother, Mr. E.E. Spillman and sister, Mrs. Edith Duncan. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, January 06, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
