Bettye Sellers Walker's Obituary
Bettye Sellers Walker passed away July 21, 2020, from complications due to COVID-19. She was born in Hamlin, Texas, to Charlie and Mackie Sellers. Bettye was preceded in death by her husband, Harold (Hal) Walker, and their son, Harold H. Walker, Jr.
She graduated from Hamlin High School and attended Texas Women's University. Bettye is survived by her daughter, Vickie Walker Spearman, and husband, Jim; Blake and wife Karen; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many friends. Bettye served as president of North Dallas Women's Club, and she enjoyed playing bridge both socially and competitively. She was a longtime member of Central Christian Church.
Due to the current pandemic and our concern for the health of friends and family, we are delaying a Celebration of Life ceremony until it is safe for us to join each of you in commemorating her incredible life
