To Blake and Bettye's family,

I was thinking about Bettye and wondering how she was doing. I happened to google Bettye and Hal Walker and that's when I found the obituary. We just wanted to let you know how sweet Bettye was to me and Bill. We had such fun times together. I remember a trip to New Orleans for ASHRAE. Hal and Bettye and Bill and I ate out at restaurants in the French Quarter and we toured a plantation together. Bettye was always a gracious host. She was beauty personified. I remember going to Hal's funeral and Bettye looked the same as she always did. I laughingly asked her, "how in the world do you not age at all?" Bettye just laughed.

Please let me know if Bettye had a favorite charity. We love to send memorials. So sorry that COVID prevented you from being able to have a funeral. Please know that we loved and respected Bettye and Hal.

I am to miss my grandmother Nana,
We have had a lot of memories together. I can remember as a little girl going to her house on Fallsview Lane. I remember the times I would spend the night at her house. We would play cards together. Then we would go shopping. Then we would go out to eat, Then we would go to the Movies. And etc. go swimming, get in the spa with her. And just have fun. I remember growing up going to get my nails done with my grandmother and go to North park mall, Galleria Mall, and I remember when she used to pick me up in her Jagwire station wagon car.remember it was pretty big. I would color in the back seat on a peice
of paper. And I also remember when I was in High school I remember when she moved to the Forum at Park lane. I remember spending the
night with her. And looking back on it now as an adult in college I am really going to miss her. She was a lovely person and grandmother she is an inspiration to me love Blaine Walker ◡̈ ♡

So sad to hear Aunt Bettye has died. I have so many fun memories of her when we lived in Dallas. She was always so much fun to be around and loved going shopping with her. Although we haven’t been in contact these last few years she will be missed. Love to Blake, Vickie and rest of family.
