Beulah Mae "Johnnie" Carey Spivey's Obituary
Beulah Mae (Johnnie) Carey Spivey long time resident of Garland, Texas passed away on November 18, 2017 at the golden age of 93. She came into this world on March 22,1924 to Thomas Green Carey and his wife Lorena Bullock Carey. Besides being a loving wife and mother, she was an aspiring oil painter, writer and poet. She loved to garden and volunteer at First Baptist Church of Garland, Texas where she and her husband were very active members for over thirty years. She is predeceased by her husband, Elvin Lee Spivey, son Ronald Elvin Spivey, her parents, six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by daughters, Patti Bateman, Glenda Chandler and son-in-law Gary Chandler, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Elvin Lee Spivey on November 22 , 2017 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas
