Beverly Ann Duvall Haas' Obituary
Beverly Ann Duvall Haas was called home to heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 12, 2019 after a brief illness. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home in Frisco, TX. Beverly was born in Dallas, TX to J.T. and Elizabeth (Cobb) Duvall. She was educated in Dallas ISD schools and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1965. She was married and devoted to the love of her life, Charles Kenneth Haas, for 54 years. During her career, Beverly was the consummate professional in the oil and gas industry as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper. Beverly was a faithful servant of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved to read, travel, and spend time with her dear family. She was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church and was active in her Frisco Lakes Community, enjoying Bible studies, socials, and Bunko. Beverly is survived by her husband, Ken; her daughter Lauri Beth Welch and husband, Gary; son Steve Haas and wife Jodi. She was a precious Grammy to grandchildren: Delaney Evans and husband Alex; Danielle Welch, and Chase Abshier. She is also survived by sister, Paulette Mull, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, JT Duvall; mother, Elizabeth Pauline Farrar; and stepfather, Bill Farrar. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10:00 am at Prestonwood Baptist Church in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Memorials in Beverly’s honor may be made to Samaritan’s Purse or Prestonwood Pregnancy Center.
