Bill Hance's Obituary
Billy Joe “Bill” Hance, resident of Richardson, TX, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on January 30, 2024. He was born to Jack and Edna Hance of Holly Grove, Arkansas.
Bill was a member of First United Methodist Church of Richardson, TX for numerous years. On January 3, 1955, he married the love of his life, Jo Ann “Jodie”, and just celebrated 69 wonderful years together. He was an accomplished basketball player in the senior Olympic tournaments from age 60 to 85. Bill shared his talent and his knowledge of football and basketball with youths at his local YMCA. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoyed his professional career with The Procter and Gamble Company for 37 years before retiring early at 58 years old.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Edna Hance. He is survived by his spouse, Jodie Hance of Richardson, TX; children Mike (and Susan) Hance of Bedias, TX, Lisa Manske of Splendora, TX, and Chris (and Paige) Hance of Rogers, AR; grandchildren April Hance, Brittni Gault, Catelyn Manske, Griffen Hance, Jared Hance, Cooper Hance, and Jackson Hance; and great-grandchildren Alina Brown and Easton Manske.
