Bill Herndon, 80, born July 11, 1936 in Gonzales, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Bill is preceded in death by Mother, Irene Herndon; Father, Thomas Otis Herndon; Sister, Carolyn Wright, Brothers: Kenny, Lenny and Charles Herndon He is survived by Brother, Ted Herndon; Ex-Wife Christine Herndon; Children: Kathryn Cupp, Patricia, Michael, Russell and Craig Herndon; 9 nieces and nephews, 14 cousins, and four grandchildren: Erin, Daniel, Jacob and Lily Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in Wildwood Chapel, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m… . Funeral Service will be held on February 11 at 12:30 PM at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, with burial to follow in the garden of Compassion. A gathering will be held after the funeral at Kathryn’s home at 904 Brownfield Drive, Mesquite, TX, close to the Dunstad Activity Center on Galloway Drive. Estimated time: 3:30 p.m., Tex Mex food will be provided by Southwest Airlines. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
