Bille Faye Lubke's Obituary
Billie Faye McMillan Lubke went home to be with the Lord June 17, 2021. She was born October 31, 1924 in Salisbury, North Carolina. Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, George W Lubke, Sr; parents Bruce and Mary McMillan; sisters Jerry Cline, Ruth Craven and brother Bruce McMillan.
After attending Catawba College, she was employed by The Charlotte quartermaster depot where she met her husband, George.
George and Billie founded Horizon Com Sales in 1968 where she worked as the office manager. After retiring, they moved to Corinth, TX where they were active members of First United Methodist Church Denton and traveled with the Trippers. Billie volunteered at Denton Regional Hospital and loved to play bridge. She will be remembered for her easy going and kind nature, sense of humor and strong faith.
Billie will be missed by her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her 4 children, Robin Keppers, Carol Haynes, Nancy Temple and George Lubke Jr; and their spouses Steve Keppers, Bill Haynes, David Temple and Martha Lubke; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021 2pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
