Billie Jean Andrews' Obituary
Billie Jean Andrews
Born February 12, 1932 in Lufkin, Texas. She graduated Malakoff High School in 1949. After high school she worked for the Malakoff News as a linotype setter for several years and it was one of her favorite jobs.
On July 11, 1954, she married Edwin Andrews and they have shared 66 almost 67 years together. They moved around Texas several times but landed and settled in Dallas in 1968.
She loved gardening and working with her hands including sewing and crafts. Later in life she found her true artistic ability in Eggery where she won several awards through the years. Eggery is working with egg shells of all varieties. She had a true passion for the art and was very talented. She was a member of the Egg Art Guild of Texas.
She loved her family, God, fishing and being at the beach. She will be dearly missed.
Billie is survived by her husband, Edwin E. Andrews; daughter, Risa Andrews; son, Ed Andrews; daughter-in-law, Debbie Andrews; grandchild, Kayne Andrews; great grandchildren, Ivy Andrews and Eden Andrews; sisters-in-law, Joy Trammell and Ann Andrews; niece, Lee Ann Lattimer; and nephew, David Trammell.
