Billie Chisum Bobele's Obituary
Billie Chisum Bobele, 92, of Plano, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2020. Billie was born on February 9, 1928 in Dexter, Texas to William Franklin Chisum and Ada Ethel Harrison Chisum.
She graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1945 and moved to Dallas, Texas. Not long thereafter she began her career at General Motors where she worked for 42 years until her retirement. Billie married Herbert H. "Bo" Bobele in 1975 and they enjoyed traveling and raising horses before his passing in 1991. Billie was an ardent cat lover and had many beautiful cat companions throughout her life, Billie was a member of St, Andrew United Methodist Church and formed many lasting friendships through the Pals group.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Bo, her father and mother, Will and Ada Chisum, her brother, Willard Chisum, sisters, Loleet Williams, Mildred Treece and Faye Shipley, niece Marsha Kay Pool and nephew Michael Chisum. Billie will forever be remembered by her loving family, Sheila (Mark) Landua, Blake Landua, Kyle Landua, Marian Pepper, Buddy Williams, Charlotte Kraus (Glenn), Betty Putt, Larry Shipley (Denise), Donna Tholen and Brenda Jo Williams-Windham. Billie is fondly remembered by countless other family and friends who were blessed to know her.
Visitation for Billie Chisum Bobele will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 9:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas,Texas.
