Billie Faye Ellis' Obituary
Ellis, Billie Faye Arlington—Billie Faye Ellis 90, passed away February 7, 2023. Billie was born June 3, 1932 in Princeton, Texas. She accepted the Lord as her Savior when she was ten years old at the Methodist Church in Princeton. She married Gerald Ellis January 7, 1950. Billie and Gerald were married 59 years and had two daughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, her parents, her sister Wilma White, sister Mildred Huddleston, and her twin sister Bobbie Dugger. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Bailey and husband Jimmy of Georgetown, daughter Linda Ellis of Arlington, granddaughter Leigh Ann Ellis of Denver, Colorado, granddaughter Jennie Kutac and husband Nick of Leander, Texas, great granddaughters Bailey Kutac, Emilia Kutac and great grandson Tucker Kutac all of Leander, Texas.
After high school, Billie attended Rutherford Business School. After a time of being a housewife and mother, Billie and her husband moved to Grand Prairie, where they were members of First Baptist Church. Billie worked for Dallas ISD and Grand Prairie ISD, where she retired after 29 years of service. Billie, along with her husband were fans of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed many years of attending Cowboy games. After retirement Billie enjoyed being involved in neighborhood clubs, shopping for the latest fashion trends and bargains, and attending church events. Billie also enjoyed gospel music and attending Elvis Tribute Artist events.
Billie will be laid to rest beside her husband at Restland Cemetary following a family graveside service, officiated by Dr. Bill Skaar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifeline for Families, Inc. in Grand Prairie, or First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie.
