In her younger years she enjoyed bowling on a league, activities at the local recreation center and even took up dance lessons in her 80s.
How do you sum up 93 years of life in a few paragraphs? You can’t, but in one sentence, the world was a better place with her in it.
Billie was a Mama first and the best Nana anyone could have hoped for. She loved her family above all and would do anything for them, but she loved her grand pups Mojo and Missy most because they didn’t talk back. She was there for her family day and night unconditionally. She took great pride in watching her family succeed and grow. Proud is an understatement of how she felt of her family and how her family felt of her. She loved family get togethers. Every holiday was her favorite because family gathered and she would spoil everyone with her deviled eggs and her famous Nana’s Banana Pudding. She was so strong and independent that she was hosting even the most recent holidays and still driving at the age of 93. She lived her life as she wanted and was always extremely supportive of everyone. No one could keep a secret like she could. She was a true friend to everyone who knew her. She was the heart and soul of the family and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
