Billie Bert Johnson's Obituary
JOHNSON, BILLIE BERT BRYMER B.B, as she was known to friends and family, was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Ethel Childress and was soon after adopted by Mattie and Burt Brymer, of San Angelo, Texas. B.B. is preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life and husband of 56 years, Jimmy G. Johnson, and is survived by two daughters, Ava Monroe and Susan Cammack and her husband, Ned, as well as two grandchildren, Jennifer Monroe and Justin Monroe and his wife Rachael. B.B. worked as an executive assistant at Collins Radio, Richardson Heights Bank and the Plaza of the Americas hotel. She also co-founded and operated Kiddie Kollege, a kindergarten and preschool in Plano, Texas. B.B. and Jimmy retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, where they made many dear, close friends. She was an outstanding daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was an excellent cook, hostess, decorator, pianist, and golfer. She brought beauty to her surroundings and also laughter with a sharp and wicked sense of humor. Raised and baptized in the Baptist church, she is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the many caregivers and nurses who attended our mother, at her Avalon home and VITAS Hospice.
