Billie Adele Jordan's Obituary
7/7/25 in Sanger, Tx- Attended Texas Womens University, where she once played with Byron Nelson, graduating in 1947, married Burl and enjoyed N Dallas family life. Loved playing bridge, sewing, teaching the neighborhood kids to throw a ball, and was an accomplished photographer, a trait passed on to her son, a published professional. Having beaten cancer after treatments in 1993, Billie moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1996 to be near Hilarie and Tony where she found neighborhood children to teach again, great neighbors and enjoyable bridge partners. In 2004, she moved back to Texas with Hilarie and Tony. In later years, she loved finding and investing in stocks based on her own research. All the children that knew her were the recipients of toy cars, no matter their ages. She lived life on her terms and stayed fiercly independent through her entire life. Preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Burl F. Jordan; parents, Neppie Lee and William Burroughs; siblings, Margie Thompson and Bobby Burroughs. Survived by her children, Hilarie J and huband Tony Dzianott, Bruce F. Jordan; grandchildren, Joshua Michael Dzianott and wife Lindsey, Caleb Steven Jordan; great-granddaughter, Sydni Taylor Dzianott; nieces and nephews, Jon, Dan and Janet Thompson, Martha, Bobby and Kathy Burroughs. She was a devoted Great-Aunt to Annika and Rebecca Pentikainen, Michael and Mathew Dzianott.
