Billie Marshall's Obituary
Mrs. Billie Ruth Marshall, 95, of Frisco, Texas passed away on Wednesday morning, February 3rd, 2021.
Mrs. Marshall was born in Dallas, Texas to Giralda and Charles McCallum on June 13th, 1925. A 1944 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, she started working as a secretary at Ford Motor Company where she was later introduced to her boss’s son, William Norwood Marshall. Mrs. Marshall and Mr. Marshall married on August 25th, 1951 and on May 10th, 1955, they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Leischen Anne. Upon her husband’s retirement from the Dallas Police Department, they successfully ran their own car washing business .
Mrs. Marshall was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, known for her sweet nature and unconditional love fir her family. She was dedicated to serving the Lord and a member of Frisco Church of Christ. Together, she and Mr. Marshall enjoyed annual trips to the Colorado mountains and spending their free time with family.
Mrs. Marshall is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Marshall, her parents, Giralda and Charles McCallum, her sister, Nila McCallum Riehl and her dear aunt, Martha Compton Beaver.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by her daughter, Leischen Celsur, her granddaughter and husband, Crystal and Josh Carwile, and her great-grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Marshall Carwile and Caroline Grace Carwile.
