Billie Ruth Oliver's Obituary
Oliver, Billie Ruth passed away June 4th in Hospice of East Texas. Born October 14th, 1917 to George & Lula Mae Davis of Scurry, Texas. She lived in Dallas for 40 years. She worked as a pattern maker and seamstress. After retiring she enjoyed working at home sewing for neighbors and friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents George & Lula Davis, three sisters Eula, Joan & Flo; husband Forrest Stanfield & Frank Oliver. She is survived by her stepson Mark & Jan Oliver, stepdaughter Teresa (Craig) Farley; four grandsons; special grandson Greg (Susan) York; Miles, Nolan & Price Oliver; special caregivers Billy Stanfield, Jackie Allen, sister-in-law Martha Stanfield many nieces, nephews, cousins and a great host of friends. Services will be Monday, June 7th at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel at 12:30pm. Visitation will be Sunday, June 6th from 5pm to 7pm. Burial at 2:00pm at Mount Olive in Scurry, Texas.
