Billie Jean Scott's Obituary
BILLIE JEAN Scott, 90, of Garland, Texas passed away April 25, 2015. Born November 15, 1924 in Shelbyville, Texas. Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years “Buddy” Scott in 2003. Also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother. Billie was a long time member of the Dallas Elks Ladies. She loved her family, traveling, a good hamburger and Mexican food. She is survived by her son, Russell Glen Scott, who she was so very proud of, his wife Robin, who she always said was the daughter they never had. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Chris Scott, his wife Melanie, Cari Johnson, her husband Chris, great-grandchildren, Taylor and Andrew Scott and Mallory Johnson. Nieces, nephews and many friends. Everyone who met Billie loved her. She always brought sunshine into a room with her smile and happy disposition. She will be missed every single day by her family. Graveside services will be held at Restland Memorial Cemetery in The Court of Gabriel. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to TX Scottish Rite Hospital for children 222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75216. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
