Billie Jean Sistrunk's Obituary
Billie Jean Sistrunk (Jean), born in Dallas, Texas on January 11, 1926. Jean was a 1943 graduate of Adamson High School and married Travis Linvol Sistrunk on July 11, 1946. She was a loving and kind mother and grandmother who never failed to listen and provide comfort to anyone in need. On March 1, 2020, God took her in hid loving arms and led her home.
Billie was preceded in death by her mother Geneva Harris, father Ed Cornett, husband Travis Sistrunk, son Darryll Sistrunk, grand daughter Jennifer Sistrunk, Cocoa Cat and Kit-E-Kat.
She is survived by her daughter Sherryll Green and son-in-law Kenny Greene, daughter in-law Jeanne Sistrunk, grandchildren Cary Delmark (Tami), Chris Delmark (Lindsey), and Wendy Perez, great grandchildren Michael and Allisen Forrest, Ashleigh Watson, Candice Radford, Lauren Zepeda, Wyatt Delmark, Ryan Delmark, Jordan Delmark, Elijah Delmark, and Jack Delmark, and great-great grandchildren, Corbyn Watson and Cru Watson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Restland Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
