Billy Jean (BJ) Smith's Obituary
Smith, Billy Jean (BJ) was born July 10th, 1927 in Dallas, TX and passed away January 2nd, 2013 in Dallas, TX. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Stanley Smith; daughters, Cindy Carey and Susan Stuller and their husbands Leonard Carey Jr. and Dean Stuller. Eight grandchildren, Chad Carey and his wife Kate, Keith Carey and his wife Lindsay, Mark Carey and his wife Jessica, Gloria Carey, Jeremiah Hayes, Evan Stuller, and Elizabeth Stuller; three great-grandchildren, Bernice, Genevieve, and Luke Carey. BJ, known as “Mimi” to her family and loved ones, spent many years of her life as a successful Real Estate Agent in Dallas before retiring and hitting the road in an RV with the love of her life, Stan and Annie, their four-legged best friend. BJ leaves behind many years of fun and laughter with her children and grandchildren, but the proudest memory is finally being blessed with three great-grandchildren that she politely campaigned for, for many years. Anyone that met BJ is lucky to have known her and she will be missed by many. Memorial services will be held at Restland Funeral Home, at a time to be determined.
