Dear Dad, Love you so much! So glad we had a good time & I got to give you a back rub before I left for travel. Thanks for letting me always pray over you & for always letting me know you loved me. You taught me so many things from the time I was a child, even if we didn't always agree. Who does? You were always there for me, even in the worst times of my life. I cherish the memories of all the improvements you made on my home: new countertops, extending the roof over my front porch, building picture frames and teaching me how to 'letter' for drafting. I attribute so much of my construction knowledge to you; your projects definitely were the foundation. I remember helping you pour concrete (was conscripted to do so ?? , roofing the playroom and being the gopher. When I was an adult, you even taught me how to use the coping saw on a tricky piece of moulding. You were a master at carving trim moulding. So many good memories of being with you on trips as a child, riding bikes, picking up pizza, flying down the street in the VW you loved, just the simple things. Because of our shared belief in Christ's word, I look forward to seeing you again in our heavenly home one day. John 3:16 For God loved the world (people) SO much, that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. Until that day, Bren
