Billy Ray Hewitt's Obituary
HEWITT, BILLY RAY born April 14, 1924 in Hickory Creek, Texas passed away September 19, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise of over 50 years. Bill served his country in the U S Marines Corp in WW II. He started Bill Hewitt’s Garage January 11, 1946 and was a Charter member of Walnut Hill Church of Christ and served as a Deacon for 35 years. Bill is survived by son, Ronnie Hewitt and wife, Sharon; daughter, June Holcomb and husband, Tom; 5 grandchildren, Brad Holcomb and wife, Heather; Leigh Holloway and husband, Wayne; Jason Hewitt and wife, Michele; Jeff Hewitt, Joy Martinez and husband, Omar; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jean Harris; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family would like to thank caregivers, Ruby, Janice, Brandy, and Janet with Priority Home Health Services. Services will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Walnut Hill Church of Christ with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church, followed by the graveside service at 1:30 PM at Restland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
