Billy Ann Hurt's Obituary
Billy Ann Hurt, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on June 22, 2025. She is proceeded in death by her parents Bill and Edna Davis, husband Jerry Hurt, stepson Mike Hurt and stepdaughter Kathy Hurt. She is survived by her son Glenn Thompson and wife Cheryl Thompson, grandchildren William Thompson, Danesha Thompson, and Robert Thompson, great grandchildren Avery Thompson and Ayden Thompson. Her daughter Sharon Morrison and husband Dwayne Morrison and grandson Mike Morrison.
Billy especially loved camping trips with her daughter Sharon, with whom she shared countless adventures—including a memorable journey to Alaska. Her passion for exploration was matched only by her dedication to education. As a teacher and school counselor, she had a special place in her heart for elementary school children, nurturing young minds with compassion and wisdom. Above all, she will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:30AM in Restland’s Wildwood chapel
