Billy Joe Irvan's Obituary
Irvan, Billy Joe was called home with the angels on April 8th, 2010 to be with his Lord after a long illness. He was born March 11, 1926 in Henrietta, Texas to John Samuel and Lelar Maude Irvan. He lived most of his life in the Desoto area, but was currently residing in Midlothian. He worked for over 40 years as an independent contractor for Frozen Food Express. B.J. was truly a family man, who loved his family very much, to know him was to love him. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gladys Mae Irvan of Midlothian, Texas, daughters Renee Lee, Wanda “Cissy” Durrett (John Deans), Lisa (Tracy Escobar) and Diana Sue Kondler; grandchildren Brandy, Savannah, Brittany, Hayden, Brady, Grayson, Tammy and Derron; two great grandchildren Maci and Parker as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
