Billy Joe Bean's Obituary
Billy Bean was born December 22, 1929, in Waco,TX. Bill grew up there and attended school and graduated from Waco High School. After graduating he began working in a motorcycle shop. He realized he had a great passion for motorcycles. That passion turned into racing. He raced motorcycles for years in many different states. That was the love of his life until the day he met Bette Drummond. Bill married Bette on October 17, 1952.That began a 65 year love affair. They were truly soul mates. Bill cherished his wife Bette, that preceded him in death by one month and 1 day. He deeply loved his family. Daughter Julie Swing, her husband Gregg, Lisa Bean and granddaughter Julie Anne Hare, her husband Mike. Bill was a very special husband and a wonderful father. Bill’s passions were working on just about anything just to see how it was designed, loved golf and especially enjoyed singing in the choir at Lakeside Baptist Church. Bill was never too busy to help his family or another person with a problem or a project that needed to be done. Bill loved his Lord and demonstrated that by the way, he lived his life everyday. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Court of Reflections garden at Restland memorial Park.
